Raw Kit: Seventh Sister Saberguard (Closed version)

This is an unfinished/unassembled black PLA plastic printed kit. Very basic, raw 3D print. 5 parts total. Time to print: approx 24hrs total.

Please read the description thoroughly before purchasing.

There are no details (engravings or other small things). It is up to you to clean-up/sand, assemble (permanently or partially), detail and paint as you like.

My two recommendations:

1. Reinforce the end caps with small pieces of a clear dowel or rod on opposite sides. The build of those will crack if pressure is applied (personal experience). I’m sure if this was made out of metal like in the show, that wouldn’t happen. =)
2. If you want the saberguard removable from your lightsaber like I did, I actually cut away a slot to slide it together and added some foam to the slots along the sides so they snugly fit in. After time these will wear out but it’s what I came up with at the time. Other options welcome (besides a model re-do). I even put some foam on the inside where the saber hilt sits just to keep it in place as well, so there should be room for other size sabers as well but not by too much! I did this model so long ago for my own costume, I may consider an edit or few down the line. =)

This file was created long ago when Seventh Sister first came out (and I wanted to dress up as her! 😀 ). I was one of the first approved Seventh Sisters in the 501st. It is modeled from scratch in software that is (unfortunately) no longer supported or available. It is printed on a Robo3d printer whom we call Mr. Printer. He’s not great at small details so we stick to basic models. As long as he behaves I’ll be printing more things.
